Committee Chair: Andrew Gould
The Design and Economic Development Committee focuses on building design and
construction in the Cannonborough and Elliotborough neighborhoods, with the goal
of maintaining a compact and diverse, walkable neighborhood with greenspaces,
businesses, and community services easily accessible to all residents. Additionally,
this committee will work with governmental and non-governmental organizations to
promote economic development in the community consistent with maintaining an
attractive, livable, and sustainable community.
Individuals or entities interested in constructing or rehabilitating buildings in the
Cannonborough and Elliotborough neighborhoods are asked to present their plans
to the Design and Economic Development Committee who will work with those
individuals and entities to achieve a design and use that is harmonious with the
Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood.
Regular meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30PM at 33 Cannon St.,
Suite 404 (white building in rear of property)
